We at Fisher’s Peak State Park continue to feel so very blessed by the hugely generous donation of the Colorado Parks Foundation (CPF) for Sophie Binder's beautiful and artistic topographic map of Fishers Peak State Park! This table and artwork were a dream in my mind from the day I learned I'd be overseeing the development of our newest state park. I never could have guessed that we would be able to achieve this goal so soon and so perfectly, but the Colorado Parks Foundation made it possible and made it fun! Speaking of fun, the unveiling of the "Wild Realm" in our little town of Trinidad in January 2024 was such a festive and happy event, again made possible by the CPF. This was a great opportunity to showcase both Sophie Binder as the very talented artist that she is as well as highlight the generous work of the CPF in our community. With standing room only and nothing but pure excitement and joy, the event was attended by countless active and influential folks who have always been so supportive of what I like to call "America's Favorite State Park". Again, such a night would not have been possible if it weren't for the CPF!
